Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

This is immediate and needs no contact with us. If you still have Sworn installed, use this.

  1. Open Sworn and make sure you're signed in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when asked. Your account and data are deleted straight away and you're signed out.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it separately in the Google Play Store — deleting your Sworn account does not cancel Play billing, and Sworn cannot cancel it on your behalf.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you've already uninstalled Sworn, can't sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us and we'll delete the account for you.

Email a deletion request

Please include, so we can identify the right account:

Send it from the email address on the account where possible — it's the quickest way for us to confirm the request is really yours. If you can't, we may ask you one or two questions to verify ownership before deleting anything, because an unverified deletion request is itself a way to attack someone's account.

We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete them within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Whichever route you use, the same thing happens. All of this is removed:

DataWhat it is
Your profileEmail address, display name, Sworn ID, notification tokens
Your Sworn ID registrationReleased so the ID can be issued again
Goals and limit historyThe cloud backup of your commitments
Synced usage historyEvery daily record stored for your account
Approval requestsEvery request you sent or received, on both sides
Tamper eventsProtection-disabled records, on both sides
Subscription recordOur copy of your purchase state, and the claim tying that purchase to this account
Your sign-in accountThe Firebase Authentication account itself, deleted last

What is kept, and why

If you paid for Premium and later delete your account, the purchase claim is released rather than left pointing at an account that no longer exists — so a future Sworn account of yours can still use "Restore purchase". You won't be locked out of what you paid for.
